About Me

My photo
My name's Alison but for reasons too long to go into I'm known as Cockney Blonde or CB for short. I've been rubber stamping for several years but now spend most of my time either knitting or crocheting. However, with the advent of a New Year I have bitten the bullet and am tackling my usually hated pastime of sewing. I've even bought 'Sewing for Dummies' to guide me on my way. I've been with my hubby Dave for 24 years and between us we have 4 kids and 5 grandkids. We also have 2 cats and a dog, the latter features as my 'photo' image. I used to be able to blog daily but these days I struggle to blog weekly. Hopefully now we are settled into our new home in the country, I can get back to a daily (well almost) update from the room I now have to share with hubby. No more personal crafting space for me!!! Thanks to all the blogs and sites I follow for all your brilliant inspiration, and thank you to everyone who finds the time to comment on my blog.

Grace in a Daydream

Good Morning, I hope you're all enjoying your weekend. Its freezing here in West Yorkshire and blowing a gale so I can't think of any better excuse than to stay in the warm and craft.

This cute little image is one of the new digital images from Sugar Nellie, isn't she just cute and so easy to colour with copics too. I've used:-
skin - E21, 93 and Promarker Satin
hair - E31, 33, 35
everything else - BG10, 15, G02, 03, RV000, 02, 04, 06

I think she's dressed in anticipation of warmer weather and is dreaming about playing out in the sun.

I also remembered that I had a fab 12 x 12 DP pack from Papermania called Rose Garden which my good friend Diane bought me last year for my birthday. I keep forgetting to use it or rather I stroke the pages and then give a little sigh and think maybe next time, lol. The papers are just perfect for these cutesy images.

The sparkly string of beads are from my stash, as is the ribbon, and I've fixed them with glossy accents.

{Neet, if you're reading this from across the pond then I hope you're having a good time and thanks for your comments and encouragement.}

Anyhow, I hope you like this and I'm entering it into the following challenges:-
