About Me

My photo
My name's Alison but for reasons too long to go into I'm known as Cockney Blonde or CB for short. I've been rubber stamping for several years but now spend most of my time either knitting or crocheting. However, with the advent of a New Year I have bitten the bullet and am tackling my usually hated pastime of sewing. I've even bought 'Sewing for Dummies' to guide me on my way. I've been with my hubby Dave for 24 years and between us we have 4 kids and 5 grandkids. We also have 2 cats and a dog, the latter features as my 'photo' image. I used to be able to blog daily but these days I struggle to blog weekly. Hopefully now we are settled into our new home in the country, I can get back to a daily (well almost) update from the room I now have to share with hubby. No more personal crafting space for me!!! Thanks to all the blogs and sites I follow for all your brilliant inspiration, and thank you to everyone who finds the time to comment on my blog.

A Riddle For You...

Okay. No photo. Just a wee challenge.

When I was away last weekend with my friend I got up to a bit of mischief. Now I know a couple of you in blogland have been privy to that information so therefore you are banned from this challenge. You know who you are and if you've blabbed to anyone (I'm referring to you Neet...) then they are banned too, lol.

If you can guess what I got up to last weekend post your reply to this message. The first one to guess correctly will receive a little something in the post. Sorry but UK only.

I'll give you a couple of days and if you are struggling I'll think about giving you a clue.

Good luck, x

  1. I reckon that if you've been away with your bestie mate Pat you've probably been to a big concert... gig... or such like with a big rock band or similar, such as Quo. Either that or a Michael Buble show heh! heh! plua a few good meals and bottles of vino too!
Whatever, I hope it was great!
    Love Jo x

  2. Yikes I have no idea but I it has to be some sort of mischief that you got up to!! Then again maybe that is the twist, maybe you were very sensible and demure. Oh no, I will say it was a crafting weekend and you melted some plastic.
